Audio and Video Studios
Fairhaven College offers courses in Audio Recording and Video Production, with their own studios!
About the Audio Recording Studio
The Fairhaven Recording Studio offers students a chance to explore and practice the exciting art and science of professional audio recording. Four sequential courses cover everything from the basics of proper signal path and microphone selection to regular individual hands-on experience with a Pro Tools HD system. Additional independent study projects may be designed by those students looking to further advance their recording knowledge beyond the formal classes. For more information, contact Mark Miyake, Assistant Professor of Music and Society.
About the Video Studio
The video editing studio is outfitted with 6 Mac computers equipped with Final Cut Pro video editing software. Students at Fairhaven use the video editing studio for animation, stop-motion, documentary, narrative and experimental video projects. Students working on video projects through FAIR 270B Introduction to Digital Video course or through Independent Study Projects can use the studio. For more information, contact Mark Miller, Digital Video Instructor.
