Graduation Information

Applying for Graduation

Are you a current Fairhaven College student who is ready to apply for graduation? To avoid late fees, you should apply for graduation two quarters before you plan to graduate. Email Emily Marrs with any questions.

When you are ready to apply, follow these steps:

  1. Update your Concentration Course List to indicate your complete courses and pending coursework. Have this approved by your Concentration Chair and email it to Emily Marrs.
  2. Make a Graduation Filing appointment to meet with the Fairhaven College Curriculum & Records Manager, Emily Marrs, to complete your major evaluation and graduation process.
  1. Meet with your advisor in that department and complete a major evaluation.
  2. Follow the steps listed on the Registrar’s Office website to “apply for your degree”
  1. Email Emily Marrs for an Upside-Down Major Evaluation Form.
  2. Meet with your advisor to complete the form.
  3. Make a Graduation Filing appointment to meet with the Fairhaven College Curriculum & Records Manager, Emily Marrs, to complete your major evaluation and graduation process.

There are two commencement ceremonies held each year; one in December and one in June. You will need to make a reservation to attend. Information can be found on the commencement website.
