Daniel and Pandora Larner Opportunity Scholarship for Dramatic Writing
The Larner Opportunity Scholarship for Dramatic Writing is a renewable $2,000 award given to one currently enrolled Fairhaven student who shows interest and promise in dramatic writing, broadly defined as writing for the theatre, film, or television (e.g., playwriting, screenwriting, episodic writing).
 
Application Requirements
1. Write and submit an essay in which you describe i) how you became interested in dramatic writing, ii) your purpose in dramatic writing (i.e., why do you do it?), and iii) how you plan to continue engaging in dramatic writing in your remaining time at Fairhaven.

Guidelines for Essay: Your essay should be between 500-750 words in length, double-space, using 12 point-font, and with 1-inch margins. 

2. Write and submit a second essay in which you briefly explain how this award will impact your educational experience at Fairhaven and/or Western Washington University, generally.
 
Guidelines for Second Essay: Your second essay should be 250 words maximum, double-spaced, using 12 point-font, and with 1-inch margins.
