Arthur Mafti and Martha Perry Fairhaven Scholarship
The Mafti and Perry Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship awarded to one student each year. Any Fairhaven student looking for financial assistance to cover college expenses, broadly defined, is encouraged to apply for this award.
 
Application Requirements
1. Write and submit an essay in which you describe i) your educational background, ii) your academic goals, and iii) how this award will impact your educational experience at Fairhaven and/or Western Washington University, generally. 

Guidelines for Essay: Your essay should be between 500-750 words in length, double-spaced, using 12 point-font, and with 1-inch margins.

*A single letter of recommendation can be used for multiple scholarship applications. Letters of recommendation can be written by faculty or community members. However, your letter of recommendation would be significantly stronger if your faculty or community member could address your skills and talents as they pertain to the specific scholarship.
