Attendance: A thorough understanding of recording techniques takes time and frequent review. Please strive to be present and on time for every class meeting. If you are going to miss class coordinate with me to make up the work. If you miss 4 or more classes you need to check in with me, so we can agree on a plan in order for you to pass the class. It is up to you to schedule that check-in. If you have missed at least 4 classes and I do not hear from you all quarter, then you will not be able to pass.

Lab Structure: This class has a crucial lab component. Students will still be required to meet with the instructor or a qualified student lab instructor to practice the specific recording techniques required to pass this class. Labs will meet in the Fairhaven Studio (FC 108). The Final Exam will be based closely based on the lab work.
