Damian Cade

Instructor

About

Damian grew up in a household infused with jazz and is descended from jazz musicians. He graduated with a BS in Psychology and a minor in Dance from the University of Washington and continued his exploration of human connection and movement while apprenticing under the legendary Kathlyn Hendricks, Ph.D., BC-DMT, and Gay Hendricks, Ph.D., graduating from their Leadership and Transformation program. Damian continually weaves the lines of dance and therapy together – he is an award-winning jazz dancer, teaching lindy hop and tap dance locally and at festivals around the world. He is also a Certified Counselor in private practice, where he helps couples and singles rediscover their capacity for connection and play through movement. His life’s journey is one of bringing people together through movement, holding dance classes that heal and conducting therapy that moves.
