World Issues Forum Presentation: Drawing the REDLine

Presenter: Celeste Mergens, Founder and CEO, Days for Girls

Description: Menstruation health and its intersectional issues continue to have a cost for women and girls around the world. Many advancements have been made in education, access to supplies, and breaking of taboo; however, more is needed.  Celeste Mergens will put into perspective this global issue, as well as share the grassroots approach that has led her organization to reach 1.7 Million women and girls.  Even with this progress, more is left to be done, and with urgency to draw a REDline on shame. No more lost days, no more lost dignity, no more lost lives.
