Description

*This is a student-taught class by Olive Bacon. Steven Sehman is the faculty sponsor.

In this course students will learn about the variety of methods used to produce unique sounds using digital synthesizers. We will be taking an in-depth look at the different parts of a synthesizer and how those parts interact with one another to produce sound. Additionally, we will learn how to identify and describe audio in language which can help us categorize attributes of sound. Finally, we will learn how to manipulate synthesizers to create and recreate sounds using references and from memory.
