About

I have an M.S. in Environmental Studies/Conservation Biology from Prescott College and am working on a Ph.D. in Environmental Studies at Antioch University New England with Dr. Mike Akresh. My current research focuses on the ecology of endemic birds in the Caribbean Important Bird Area. Additionally, I teach natural history classes through Whatcom Community College, the North Cascades Institute, Whatcom Land Trust, and help coordinate the Secretive Wetland Birds monitoring program for Whatcom County.
